Bobby worked for the PFRA Tree Nursery in Indian Head for 35+ years, retiring as a Supervisor 15 years ago. He had a love of hockey, especially the Boston Bruins, which is how he acquired the name “Bobby” (aka Bobby Orr). He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, golfing, coaching hockey and ringette for 12 years, road trips, music festivals, travelling, horse racing, poker, cards and loved to watch any and all sports. He also enjoyed his lawn and snow removal business and being able to visit with his clients. He was quick with a laugh and smile, and never missed coffee row. His nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, always referred to Uncle Bobby as the ‘candy man’, as he always had treats for the kids and a toonie in his pocket. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses in MICU and 5E in the Regina General Hospital, Dr. Bruce Zimmerman, Lani Antoine and nurses in the Indian Head Hospital for their great care and support provided to Bobby.
Last but not least, a very special thank you to our family nurse, Lesley (niece) for always being there for family illnesses, to translate medical information, provide insight and to stay up all night beside those who are ill. We truly appreciate and love you.
