It is with great sadness to announce that Joseph (Joe) passed away peacefully with his family by his side.
Joe is lovingly remembered by his sister Mikeline Kisil of Calgary, Alberta; sister-in-law Josephine Gilewicz of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joe was predeceased by his parents Michael and Sophie Gilewicz; his brothers Andrew, Stanley, and Ed; sister-in-law Pauline Gilewicz and brother-in-law Philip Kisil.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, Candiac, Saskatchewan with Rev. Warren Dungen officiating. Interment followed in the Holy Ghost Parish Cemetery.
