Left to cherish his memory are his three children: Tim (Lisa), Steven (Donna-Lee) and Tammy (Todd); grandchildren: Railene (Mike), Daniel (Jennifer) and Hayden (Ashley); and great granddaughter Hannah. Jake is also survived by his sisters Christine and Hilda; brothers-in-law Mike and Ray (Doreen) and sisters-in-law Marlene; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Jake was a great storyteller and would always share his life story with anyone who had the time to listen. Jake loved his family deeply and was very proud of each of their achievements. He missed Ruth terribly after her passing and we believe he died of a broken heart. We know he is where he wanted to be – alongside Mom in eternal peace.

The family would like to thank Ron and the crew of the Indian Head EMS for their care and compassion after Jake’s passing.

As per Jake’s wishes, a private family interment will take place at a later date. Donations made in Jake’s memory to the Indian Head and District Hospital Foundation, Box 1547, Indian Head, Saskatchewan S0G 2K0 are appreciated by the family.
