It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of George Noble, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend on June 27, 2022 in the Regina General Hospital with his family by his side.
George was born July 29, 1938 to Ben and Edna Noble. George enjoyed his life and the people in it. He was known as a great practical joker and always had a smile for everyone. George lived and farmed in the Abernethy area his whole life. This is where he met, Gaylene, his wife of 55 years. He especially loved to play and watch sports and enjoyed cheering on his grandchildren and community on a regular basis. His love of farming translated into a love of gardening in his later years and he has a full garden growing at this time.
George was predeceased by his parents, his sister, Lois, and his brother, Hugh. He was also predeceased by his sister-in-law, Jean, brother-in-law Morley, sister-in-law Norma and nephews Ron and Bill.
He is survived by his wife, Gaylene, their children and families: Jodi, Jason, Henry and Samuel; Cory, Jill, Ellie, Will and Blythe; and Bryce, Christa, Berk, Rogan and Jax. George is also survived by his sisters, Joan, Karen and her partner Tim and brother Donald and their families; Gaylene’s mother, Margaret, brother, Ray and brother-in-law, Garry and their families.
There was a funeral for George in the Knox United Church, Abernethy, Saskatchewan on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Immediately following the service a casual gathering to celebrate George's life was held at the family farm.
