Ronald Van Maele, age 70 of Independence, Mo. Passed away August 28th at the home. Ronald was born and lived in Independence. He enjoyed working on motor vehicles which turned into his career. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles. He especially liked taking trips with friends on his Harley. He knew everybody and everybody knew him. He will be greatly missed. May God ride with him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Mildred (Fisher) Van Maele and one brother, Rodney. He is survived by 3 brothers, Maurice, John (Candy), and Robert (Patti), and 8 sisters, Valeria Morton, Mary Bellamy (Roy), Freda Murphy (Everett), Janet Miller (Harold), Sharon Woodcock (Glen), Margaret Rush (Don), Judith Spake (Larry), and Patty Freedle. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation Wed., Sept. 8, from 6-8pm, Newcomers Noland Road Chapel, 509 S Noland Rd., Indep., MO 64040. Interment at a later date. Contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
