Mary was born on May 6, 1928 in Dixie, Mo., the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Jennie (Scott) Ferguson.
Mary leaves behind to cherish her memories two daughters: Alyce (Samuel) Payne Independence, Missouri and Sandra (Michael) Patton, Kansas City, Missouri and a host of grandchildren, great-grands, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Leon Simpson and Anderson Simpson, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024. The visitation is at 10:00 a.m. and Service at 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer’s Noland Rd Chapel, 509 S Noland Road, Independence, Missouri 64050 (816-252-8900). Pastor LaRon Thompson is officiating the service.
Burial will be Saturday, March 16, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at Southside Cemetery, Fulton, Mo.
