Malcolm "Gene" Eugene Boswell

Malcolm “Gene” Boswell, Jr., passed away January 3, 2016at St Lukes Hospital. He served proudly in the US Navy and Naval Reserve, on the USS Bushnell. During his service Gene was led into his life’s work in telecommunications. His career began with Western Electric in 1965. He moved on to be a senior communications technician at AT&T, then reaching retirement in 2009 from Alcatel Lucent. During his life he was active the Cystic Fribrosis Parents Association. Gene also enjoyed playing golf with his son, family, and friends. In retirement his love was his home at the lake, fishing and just enjoying life on his pontoon boat. He was preceded in death by his daughter Debbie and his parents Gene and Glenda Boswell of St. Louis. Gene leaves may fond memories to his wife Sharon of Independence, MO, son Rob, daughter in law Becky and grandchildren Gabe and Maya of St. Louis, MO. His loving brother Kevin and his wife Patty of Winfield, MO; loving sister Margaret Koudijs of St. Louis. Sharon’s daughter Tracie Kuchel; granddaughter Melissa Brown; great grandson Derrick; her son Jim Higgins; daughter in law Kathy and grandchildren Lucas and Lauren.
