Judy was born on June 3rd, 1945, in Lexington, Missouri. She graduated from Higginsville High School in 1963. She went on to graduate from the Saint Lukes Nursing school in 1965 with a designation of Registered Nurse. She married Finis (Bob) Frasher in 1966. Michael was born in 1968, Jean in 1973. The union was officially dissolved in 1996. Judy worked as a nurse on many levels for most of her working years. Her compassion and care for others served her well as an ER nurse, working in the office of James Swann, D.O, directing a elderly care home, and home health nurse. She loved being a nurse, though over the years the nursing was easy, losing patients to illness was a weight that became increasingly difficult to carry. Post retirement her joy was time with Church friends from the Metropolitan Community Church in Kansas City, and Grandparenting. Summing up her passions and presence is difficult in a few words. Everyone without exception described her as “Such a sweet soul”. She was an extraordinary listener, encourager, phenomenally kind and forever hopeful of a better world tomorrow. She believed the world of health care was always evolving and had hopes to cure most illnesses. She supported many causes, many for the animal world.
