James Loren Siegrist

James Loren Siegrist, age 59, of Independence, Missouri passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023. James was born in Kansas City, Missouri on November 3, 1963 to Loren Frank Siegrist and Dolores Maxine (Maples) Siegrist. He met Colleen Elaine Boyles, his high school sweetheart at just 16, love at first sight and together ever since. Elaine was from Independence, Missouri and they married on May 1, 1982.

James interests included History and old cars, he enjoyed fishing, most of all he loved spending time with his family.

James was preceded in death by his father, Loren Frank Siegrist, and his mother, Dolores Maxine (Maples) Siegrist. James is survived by his wife, Colleen Elaine (Boyles) Siegrist, two children, Dolores (Siegrist) Branscom and her husband Eric and Heather (Siegrist) Carver and her husband Michael from Independence, two beautiful granddaughters, Kayla Branscom and Karli Branscom, brother, John Siegrist and his wife Pat of Biloxi, Mississippi, Rose Ellen Hough and her husband Rick of Blue Springs, Missouri and Lavonne Spicer and her husband Joe of Independence, Missouri. Also left to cherish his memory are many favorite nieces and nephews.

James graduated from Fort Osage High School and worked as a supervisor for Haldex Brakes Systems in Blue Springs, Missouri for 32 years.

He will be missed by all that knew him.
