So many wonderful memories of growing up together, and accepting Christ the same night in a revival meeting in Iowa. Enjoyed singing in a quartet together.  So thankful we were able to stop and visit last September.  It had been nearly 50 years since we last saw each other.

Buel Conrad Peek (age 92) Born January 3rd 1930. On May 23rd 2022 he was joined with his heavenly father. Survived by his wife Phyllis Ann Peek of 30 years in marriage. 
Daughter Marsha Jean Peek, 
son Dexter Bryan Peek,
daughter Sandra Kaye Cochran, and daughter-in-law Janice Marie Peek. Preceded by son, Gregory Lyle Peek. 9 grandchildren  and  21 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. 
Buel also leaves behind four stepchildren, Tom Pine, Peggy Paul, Bob Pine, and Charly Pine and many additional grandchildren. 

Buel began his career in California as sheet metal mechanic working for an aerospace facility where he completed inspections on space capsules including the first shuttle to the moon. In 1964 Buel transfered to Kansas City, MO. to work for TWA Airline as a mechanical engineer for many years until he retired.

His favorite  sport is basketball. Playing in high school and college. Sure to still be watching his favorite teams now with full vision and hearing in heaven. I wouldn't be surprised if he's playing a game of horse with Greg right now.

Buel carried a never changing faith in the Lord through his entire life. 
As a bass singer he enjoyed singing in the church choir for many years. Recorded a gospel cd a few years back many of you may be familiar with.

All who knew Buel, knows how much he loved tinkering on projects in his garage with his abundant collection of tools. Everything from assembling go karts, building wood forts with his little buddy Adrian to repairing broken items of all kinds.
He enjoyed growing vegetables of all kinds and black berries in his well tended garden. 

Buel leaves this earth a very loved man and whom will be missed by many.

Uncle Buel was 12 years older than me, I was the oldest Nephew.  We ( my sister Shirley) and I would stay with my grand parents, probably before we were in school, a few times a year. I remember Buel would exercise doing push-ups and ask me to ride on his shoulders while doing his push ups. I also remember him being the one playing tricks and jokes on me. 
During the summer I would help with the hay leading the pitcher horse, Bill and Buel would bring the hay to the pitcher. Hot and sweaty the sweat bees would light on my back, Buel would sneak up behind me and press on them just enough so they would sting me. One day he was gathering  hay and he raked up a bunch of bumble bees. They started stinging him, he took off running swatting the bees with his hat. I never seen him run that fast again that was quite funny. Made my bee stings not hurt so much.

My favorite memory of Uncle Buel, we were on my Grandparents farm and my uncles had let me drive the tractor. It got away from me and what a wild ride my two little cousins had (Mark  and Marcy). My Uncle Bill saved us from the ditch and had me get off. My Uncle Buel had me get back on and park it ❤️
