Briana Lee Stewart

Briana Lee Stewart, age 33, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023. A memorial gathering for Briana will be held Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Newcomer's Noland Road Chapel, 509 S. Noland Road, Independence, MO 64050.

Briana was born September 8, 1989 and was the firstborn to John Stewart and Lisa Dietz. In addition to her parents, Briana leaves behind her two children, Avery Embree and Ronin Embree of Independence, MO; three younger sisters, Madison Stewart, Shelby Wilhelm and Peyton Wilhelm; maternal Grandmother, Betty "Elaine" Austin; Briana's "person", Jonathan Merritt with whom she shared his home and most recent years; her ex-husband, Kent Miller with whom she remained close, she also leaves behind many other friends and family members.

Briana most recently worked for Apple Inc. as an IT Tech in support, but she was most proud of her 1st Responder status. She was a Lifeguard in High School, became an EMT and went to school for nursing as she greatly wanted to be a Firefighter.

Briana spent most of her life living close to home in Independence, MO but enjoyed traveling and having fun. She was a BIG fan of WonderWoman, loved movies, video games, music and was an avid crafter.

Briana will be dearly missed by many.
