Arlene, also known as “my Granny” to most, devoted much of her time and energy to her enormous family. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Louis, daughter Chris Shell, son-in-law Terry Shell and six siblings. Arlene is survived by her daughter Kitty Stone and her husband John of Independence, daughter Starla Wilson of Sugar Creek, seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Mt. Washington Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.
