Barbara “Bobbie” Lee Gagetta, 76 of Ammon died Friday, April 20, 2012, at her home in Ammon. She was born on March 30, 1936, at St. Helena, California, the daughter of Albert and Ada Brovelli Mori. She spent her earlier years in St. Helena, CA, where she attended schools graduating from St. Helena High School. After graduating she attended Santa Rosa Junior College where she received an Associates Degree. She married Robert Dennis Gagetta, her high school sweetheart, on May 5, 1957. He preceded her in death on November 14, 2009. After their marriage they moved to Napa where she worked for the County of Napa, Napa School District and then Sutter Home Winery. After retiring they move to Ammon where she resided at the time of her death. Bobbie was a member of St. Apollinaris in Napa, California and the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Idaho Falls. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, but most of all she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her three sons, Chuck (Lori) Gagetta of Rutherford, CA.’ Thomas (Annette) Gagetta of Las Vegas, NV, Michael (Lyn) Gagetta of Napa, CA,; a daughter, Lori (Tom) Lenderink of Ammon; three granddaughters, Gianna Gagetta of Napa, CA, Rachel and Luci Lenderink of Ammon; three grandsons, Joseph and Mario Gagetta of Napa, CA, Wyatt Lenderink of Ammon; step granddaughter Aryn (Scott) Sloan, of Erie, Colorado, two great granddaughters, Ryan and Kennedy Sloan, two step grandsons, Brandon (Lisa) Lenderink of Denver, Colorado and Dylan (Beth) Lenderink of Pocatello, Idaho. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, on the corner of 9th and Lee in Idaho Falls, with Father Raul Covarrubias, celebrant. Burial will follow at the Ammon Cemetery in Ammon. A Rosary service will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday with a viewing following from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th Street in Idaho Falls.
