Zachary was born and raised on Cape Cod. He proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Army. Zachary had excellent leadership skills, and always had an open heart for his loved ones. Blessed with a sense of humor and generous spirit, he loved to make people laugh and would not hesitate to offer assistance to anyone in need. He enjoyed playing soccer, fishing, and seized any opportunity to run heavy equipment. Above all, family was most important to Zachary.

Zachary was predeceased by his great-grandparents, Beatrice and Danny Monterio.
