He was born to Bob and Barbara Pogorelc on October 10, 1966 in Minneapolis, MN. Tim graduated from Needham High School, MA in 1985. He attended Wentworth Institute of Technology where he received an Associate Degree.
He married Meire Rodrigues in Newport, RI in 2000. Tim, Meire, and daughters resided in Barnstable, MA.
Tim was a brilliant entrepreneur and owned many various businesses, including Tipo’s Creations, an engraving and internet based specialty business. He was passionate about the work he did, as well as being a role model for others.
Tim is survived by his wife, Meire and two daughters, Nicole and Melissa Pogorelc of Barnstable. He is also survived by his parents, Bob and Barbara, his brothers, David and Dan Pogorelc (Lynn) and two sisters, Anne Marie Tofil (Scott) and Julianna Mackie (Tim), as well as his two nieces, Shane Lee and Kaiya Rose and nephew, John Robert Pogorelc.
His family was his pride and joy. Tim unfailingly put others before himself. He was a supportive and loving father and devoted husband.
Tim was adored by his family and friends and was well known to be an optimist, confidant, advisor, and life of the party. He loved the life he lived and his enthusiasm was a motivation to everyone around him. He will be sorely missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to Our Lady of Victory Church in Centerville in Tim’s name.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Doane Beal Ames Funeral Home in Hyannis. Mass will be held on Friday, November 11 at Our Lady of Hope in West Barnstable at 11 a.m.
