Peter Dunne passed on December 20th from years of declining health. He was born on May 12th, 1966 to Walter E. Dunne and Annie Gordiewitsch. During high school, Peter and his friends were grounds men for the Craigville Conference Center. He also enjoyed dirt biking and working on his old Camaro. He graduated from Barnstable High School in 1984. Peter then went on to continue carpentry and eventually start his own business. Peter married his lifelong friend Natasha Butrimowicz on October 9th, 1994. In 2000, he founded Craigville Beach Bobcat and managed apartments as well as a summer guest house previously owned by his grandparents. Peter always had a passion for coin collecting, a hobby he would often do with his brother. He opened a small space in the Harwich Antique Center where he sold coins and antiques after his years in excavation. Peter leaves behind his loving wife and his two children Tatiana and Matthew Dunne. He is survived by his wife, children, his aunt Inna Saporoscetz, and cousins Alex Saporoscetz, Lisa Summers, Tanya Little, Greg Tereshko, and Michael Boncariewski. He is predeceased by his parents Walter and Annie Dunne, and his older brother Victor. Peter was a friend to all. He was loyal and helped anyone in need. Family and close friendships were very important to him, and he was very fond of his two corgis Cheri and Nova. Peter loved the Cape and enjoyed spending Sundays on Sandy Neck Beach with his family. A service is being held Monday, January 10th at Doane Beal and Ames funeral home (160 W Main St, Hyannis) at 10 am. Burial services will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hyannis.
