Peter R. Barr

Peter was born on January 19, 1947 in Yonkers, NY. He attended Iona Preparatory School, and earned a Bachelor's degree in psychology from Assumption College in 1973. He enjoyed watching the New York Yankees, listening to the Moody Blues, reading about astronomy and eating Italian food. He also enjoyed traveling, especially to Hawaii.

Peter is survived by his daughter Sarah (Barr) Kuhn of Mashpee, his two grandchildren Roxanna and Maximo, his long-time partner Ginny Chase, his brother Raymond Barr, and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Joseph.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Peter will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Victory Church, 230 S Main St, Centerville, MA 02632.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
