Patricia Terry Terry Chase

On January 2, 2015, Patricia Jane (Terry) Chase “Patsy” passed after a long illness. Mrs. Chase attended Barnstable High School, and went on to LaSalle Junior College, specializing in interior decorating, and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, receiving her Pharmacist degree.

Pat worked for many years at the family's Hyannis Pharmacy as a pharmacist and "soda jerk" and at the family’s Chase Laundry. She was also an active volunteer with the BHS Class of ‘46.

Mrs. Chase enjoyed researching the history of her family with her brother Jack, tracing the family’s roots all over New England and back to Pilgrim ancestors in Europe dating to the 1500's. She especially liked watching and identifying all the birds that flocked to her feeders in the back yard.

Mrs. Chase is predeceased by her husband, Donald Chase, Sr., her brother, John L. (Jack)Terry, Jr. of New Mexico and her parents, John and Edith Terry.

She is survived by her children, Donald Chase Jr. and wife Debra of Centerville, Timothy Chase of Virginia, Terry (Chase) Lewis and husband Keith of Centerville, Dennis Chase of California, and Kathleen Chase-Jones of Centerville; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her two favorite CNA's - Cari Reed Vermette & Anny Enos.

Visitation will be held at the Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 West Main Street, Hyannis, on Friday January 9, 2015 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. A Memorial service will be held at St. Pius X Church in Yarmouth on Saturday January 10, 2015 at 9am.
