Bud was born December 6, in Easton, PA, and grew up in both Nazareth, PA and Lexington, MA with his sister, Kristina. He graduated from Northeastern with an Undergraduate degree in Business Administration and later Boston University with his MBA. He worked at Dupont Pharmaceuticals where he met the love of his life, Joan. Later, he was the Financial Controller at Elektrisola, Inc, in Boscawan, NH.
After retiring to the Cape, he enjoyed serving as a gate attendant at Ocean Edge Resort where he got to meet and greet new people every day, and even occasionally indulge his lifelong love of reading.
Bud is survived by his devoted wife Joan and six children Noelle, Alyssa, Brendan, Bailey, Karl, and Barbara. He was preceded in death by his son Michael Bramer. He was also the loving and proud grandfather of Aubrie Joseph and Samantha Bramer.
Bud, an avid Skeet Shooter since college and longtime member of Minuteman Sportsman’s Club in Burlington, MA and Bass River Rod & Gun Club, Yarmouth, MA always wanted to be remembered for being “a great shot.” Bud was also a HAM radio operator with the call sign of N1LZ which he was endlessly proud of.
A private viewing was held at Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home on August 2,2023. A celebration of his life will be held in the fall. Announcements will be sent to all friends and family once plans are finalized.
