Mary Lisa (Keavy) Massoud

Mary Lisa (Keavy) Massoud, 66, of W. Barnstable, MA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of Jeffrey Massoud with whom she shared many loving years together.

Mary was born in Hyannis, MA, the only child of the late Vincent and Mary Ann (Hughes) Keavy. She was a graduate of Barnstable High School and attended Fisher College.

At the age of 15, Mary began volunteering at Cape Cod Hospital as a candy striper. She continued with the hospital and had a 30-year successful career working in Oncology and as a Patient Access representative.

Mary loved sports and was a huge Patriot’s fan. She and her husband Jeff enjoyed playing golf and going to golf tournaments, concerts and travelling, especially to Keene, NH. She loved her mastiff Frank and all her previous other pets. Above all else, Mary’s grandchildren came first. She loved them beyond measure.

In addition to her husband, Jeffrey Massoud, Mary is survived by and will be deeply missed by her daughter, Betsy O’Neill (Pat) of Marstons Mill, MA, her stepsons, Jeffrey Massoud (Jessica) of New Bedford, MA and Ryan Massoud (Shauna) of Acushnet, MA. She is also survived by her adored grandchildren; Jason and Olivia Sprague and Jaelyn, Julian and Haydn Massoud.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 3rd from 2-7 PM at Doane, Beal & Ames, 160 W. Main St., Hyannis, MA 02601. A celebration of life service will take place 10 AM Monday, December 4th at the funeral home followed by burial at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
