Gee, Karen, I wish I could just call you up and talk about this. But I can't, and that's the part I'll miss the most. You - and the special person you were -  have left a big void in my life, and in many other lives. We'll chat again.

Karen, I can honestly say that we were kindred spirits at first sight!  I am so blessed and lucky that I was able to call you my friend.  You lived life with vitality and enjoyed the beauty of every moment.  You lifted others up without thought of your own struggles.  You were always there to listen, give a hug, and give the caring advice of a friend.  You always brought a smile to face, whether in person or online.  I will miss our Walking Dead commentaries and sharing how much we both loved Daryl.  I will miss you talking about your visiting African Grey friend, Alcatraz.  I will miss standing with you in the desert sand and smiling together into the sun.  Most of all, I will miss your hugs!  I am sending so much love to Harley and Garrett.  I am so sorry that they had to lose their mom at such a young age.  I am sending so much love to Bruce.  I can't imagine the pain he is feeling.  I was fortunate enough to have Karen on my team at Supply New England's Kitchen & Bath Gallery.  She was the most senior designer in the entire showroom division. She was a powerhouse. One-of-a-kind.  Funny, creative, and dedicated.  Full of fire and light.   She held herself to a high-standard & expected the same from those around her.  I feel honored to have earned her respect.  She is truly "gone too soon" but made a huge impact in the time she was on this earth.  Anyone who knew her, knew that she loved her family fiercely.  And Cracker.  :) 
Karen - you will be greatly missed.  You were a warrior who showed the rest of us how to dance in the rain.  I wish you peace.  With love

You were it kid, the best there ever was ...My dearest oldest and most loved friend. So many memories, laughs, good times. My tears are many as a make this promise to you..I will keep your love alive and with me to the ends of my days. Karen, I'm not sure how to get used to the idea of not seeing you fly in in that Jeep of yours every morning! You were feisty, exuberant, smart, caring, dedicated, loyal - I could go on.
