He was born July 21, 1928 in Newton, MA to late Joseph O. Sr. and Mary Branzetti. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Christine, Chiarina and John and the love of his life, his wife of 52 years, Lucy Marie Barbo Branzetti.
He is survived by his family : Joseph O. Branzetti III and his wife Pauline of Haverhill, MA, Mary-Alice Branzetti of Osterville, MA, Lisa Branzetti of Washington, D.C. and Paul J. Branzetti and his wife Karina of Walpole, MA and Joe’s companion of 15 years, Jean Cute of Marstons Mills.
He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Joseph attended Newton North High Trade School and graduated in 1948 with a certificate in Cabinet Making. He spent 40 years as a furniture maker and refinisher and was employed at Barbo’s Furniture of Stoneham. He and his wife Lucy started JOB Finishing furniture restoration in 1973 and lived in Wilmington, MA. He retired in 1993 to his Cotuit home on Cape Cod to pursue his many hobbies. He loved spending time on his boat and he was an avid fisherman, hunter, outdoorsman, along with being a passionate card player. He enjoyed bird watching, gardening and candlepin bowling. He loved his family and nature. He traveled with his wife to Alaska, Caribbean, Sedona, Nova Scotia, Bermuda and Florida. In his retirement, he was a member and past president of the Cape Cod Men’s Club, a lifetime member of the Cape Cod Salties and bowled twice weekly, Monday morning (Men’s Club) and Thursday nights.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, December 28th from 3 to 7 p.m. at Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 W. Main St., Hyannis.
