John Hinckley

David was born March 3, 1952 in Hyannis, Massachusetts to John and Betty Hinckley.

He attended Barnstable High School and continued his education at Wentworth Institute of Technology. He worked with the family business, Hinckley Home Centers, and volunteered with the Barnstable Fire Department. He moved to PortSt. Lucie in 2005.

David was a skilled wood worker. He coached the Bootleggers softball team to league and state champions. David cherished his time with family and friends and especially enjoyed weekend boating trips to Sandy Neck.

David is survived by his son, Trevor, daughter Jodi and two grandsons.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his two sisters, Susie and Janis.

For all who wish to attend, a graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 14th at 10 a.m. in Lothrop Hill Cemetery, 2801 Main St., Barnstable, MA, 02630.
