Born on January 9, 1931, in Weymouth, MA, she was the daughter of the late Walter Carl and Margaret (Weeden) Roberts.
Elizabeth graduated from Weymouth High School in 1949 and went on to earn her teaching degree from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, MA.
A second grade teacher in the town of Weymouth, she dedicated her career to educating and inspiring a host of children.
After her retirement, she moved full-time to her beloved Cape Cod, where she became a member of Christ Chapel in Centerville; she sang in the choir. Her God and her Faith were very important to her. She volunteered for Songtime USA, Inc. A church pianist and organist, music animated and excited her. Elizabeth enjoyed attending concerts and the theatre, entertaining and dining out with her many friends, reading and collecting dolls and fine china. And she loved to travel, visiting Russia, England (three times), France and Aruba.
She is survived by her three brothers--John Roberts and his wife, Clare, of Gaithersburg, MD; Donald Roberts of Weymouth, MA; and Kenneth Roberts and his wife, Christine, of Weymouth, MA, as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and one great, great niece.
She will be remembered in a service at Christ Chapel in Centerville, MA, on April 12, 2014, at 2:00 pm.
