Donald A. Dewey

Cherished husband of Kristina (Aikman) Dewey. Devoted father of Suzannah Radack of San Carlos, CA, Elizabeth Dewey and her partner Bruce Harris of Somerville, MA, and James Dewey and his wife Rebecca Abbey of Las Vegas, NV. Loving grandfather of Ashley and Zachary Radack. Brother of Delores Kricker and her husband David Kricker of Waltham, David Dewey of Bowdoinham, ME and his brother-in-law James Aikman and his wife Joanne of Dunkirk MD . He also leaves behind many close extended family members including uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

When Don retired from General Electric in 2010, and moved to Plymouth, he devoted himself to historical research. He wrote a book compiling letters sent by Plymouth Civil War soldiers to their loved ones back home, volunteered at Plimoth Plantation, now called Plimoth Patuxet, and cleaned gravestones and did genealogical research for the Friends of Burial Hill.

He enjoyed walking with his beloved dog Greta and his dog walking friends. Don loved his children and grandchildren very much and will be missed by us all.

A celebration of his life will be held at a future time.
