Dear Liz and family,
We are so sad to hear of Dave's passing.  He was so generous to Chris and I for our wedding.  Dave prepared the greatest food for our reception and we will always be grateful for his friendship over the years.  What a truly wonderful man. Sending love and prayers to all of you.

I just learned of the loss of your dear David.  I am so sorry that I can't be there for the funeral, but I will remember David and you and your family at Mass. I send you much love and deepest sympathy.

 David and I were as brothers for years, having shared many happy, fun, and fulfilling experiences both as friends and as culinary colleagues. Suzanne and I offer our sincere sympathy. So sorry that he's gone, but those memories will always live. He was a dear and trusted friend with a ready laugh, and great ability.

David was a great husband, father,son, friend and golfer. His passing is a terrible loss to so many. We will miss our special times in Florida. We are sorry that we cannot be at the services but will be there with lobe. Uncle Rich and Kathy

Dear Liz,
I am heartbroken to hear of David's passing.  He was such a kind person and you always felt good being around him.  My family also mourns as he was such a wonderful addition to our family restaurant in the eighties.  My Dad loved his chowder and great sense of humor.  I was fortunate to continue to work with him in the restaurant business over the next few years.  Then, I had the good fortune to meet you and the kids.  You continued to show me the same kindness that David showed me.  
Please know you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.  It is a tremendous loss yet I will always have fond memories.
