Beverly Joy Robedee, went home to be with the Lord that she loved so much on Monday, March 5, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Richard, deceased, for 59 years. The loving and generous Mother of Robin Tayman (husband David Tayman) Kimberlee Luke, Richard Robedee, Jr. deceased (wife Wendy Robedee), proud Nan of David Tayman III (Emily), Danielle Castro, Jillian DeWald (Anthony) , Kathryn Owens (Michael), Richard Robedee III, Ariella Luke, Ethan Luke. Adoring great- Nanie to Airabella Robedee, Anne Tayman, Bradyn DeWald, Jadelyn Castro, Benjamin DeWald, James Tayman, and Dominic DaSilva. Niece Kathleen Gibbs and nephews Ted Robedee and Will Robedee.
Beverly was a busy and involved Pastor’s wife for forty years at Faith Assemblies of God Church in Hyannis. She was Founder and Principal of Kiddie Kollege, Faith Christian Academy, and Little Carpenters Early Childhood Learning Center in Hyannis. Mrs. Robedee was passionate about bringing Christian Education to children and her legacy includes literally thousands of children that were able to learn and grow in a Christian atmosphere. Previously, Beverly grew up in Ossining New York, where she met and married Richard at age 19. Together they attended Southeastern Bible Institute (Southeastern University) in Lakeland, Florida where she studied teacher training and children’s ministry. She then served alongside her husband for 10 years at First Assembly of God Rockville Center, Long Island, NY.
Known by many, as Sister Robedee, she loved kids, toys, ice cream, chocolate, fun, and the many international cruises she took with her husband and in-laws for over 25 years. She was a great encourager of her family, but also all those who worked, played, and worshipped with her. All former students are especially invited to come and honor Mrs. Robedee.
Viewing hours: Sunday March 11th 1:30 – 3:00 at Doane Beal and Ames, W. Main St. Hyannis, Ma. with service following at 3:00. Burial will be private.
