Peggy Lea Raley

Left to cherish her memory are her father, Johnnie McDougald of Huntsville; two sisters, Kathy L. Hanson and husband Mark of Bastrop, Texas, Gay L. Perry and husband Jud of Anderson, Texas; brother, Tra D. McDougald of Huntsville and half-sister, Brianna McDougald of Houston, Texas.

Also surviving are eight nephews and one niece, Wayne Hutchins of Humble, Texas, Jason Kelley and wife LaMina of Huntsville, Scott Orr and wife Jackie of Humble, Texas , Jamie Skaggs and husband Nathan of Huntsville, Brian McDougald and wife Brittany of Huntsville, T.J. McDougald of Conroe, Texas, Josh Lee and wife Shannon of College Station, Texas, Colten McDougald of Idaho, and Justin Perry, Jr. of Anderson, Texas.

Included among survivors are eight great-nieces and two great-nephews, Rayburn Smith, Katy Smith, Graci Kelley , Hailey Skaggs, Nathan Skaggs II, Landree Kelley, Mackinzie Orr, Zoe Laredo, Lauren McDougald and Savannah McDougald. Peggy was a loving grandmother to two step grandchildren,Eric and Jenny Stewart. She is also survived by her boyfriend, Stan Bennett of Huntsville .

Peggy was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She will be remembered for her loyalty and true friendships to many. Peggy lost her battle with cancer on October 12, 2012. May God Bless You and Rest in Peace!

Services for Peggy will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Huntsville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Reagan Cooksey officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Navasota, Texas. Memorial condolences may be made to the family at www.huntsvillefuneralhome.com
