Wanda Youngblood Wade

Wanda Youngblood Wade, age 55, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021. Wanda was born July 21, 1965. Wanda was an only child, she survived many hardships, including physical handicaps. For over a decade she attended and worked at Calhoun Community College. Wanda will be well remembered by her numerous friends and colleagues there. Wanda loved fishing, camping, reading, Alabama Football and dishing with her girlfriends or grandbabies. Wanda was known for strength, leadership, caring, being trustworthy, generosity and being honest to a fault. Most of all being COURAGEOUS!

Wanda leaves to cherish her memory, husband Gerald Wade. Children Rodny, Bruce, Michael Jones and Matthew Wade. Daughters in law Monica and Belinda Jones. Grandchildren Dylan Jones, Daisha Jones, Riley Jones, Natalie Jones, Cassidy Jones and Christopher Jones. Great grandchildren Da'Laiyah Badillo and Hope Majors, and countless cousins, extended family and a host of friends.

Visitation for Wanda will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home. Following the visitation there will be Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel. Wanda will be Laid to Rest at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
