Susie was born September 23,1941 to James and Flossie McCormick. She loved everyone she met, and her calling as a nurse with Huntsville Hospital for 35 years was very rewarding to her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years Roland Williams Jr; 7 sisters, Louise Roland, Lillie Cox, Effie Osia, Margaret Lott, Marilyn Hodges, Delores Bates and Ruth Gowan; one brother, James (Jim) McCormick Jr.
Left to cherish and carry on her memory are her three sons, Terry Williams, Michael Williams, David Williams and his wife Christine; two grandsons, Noah Williams and Ethan Williams; one sister, Dorothy Peters; several nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Road NE, Huntsville, AL 35811. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 2:00pm in Valhalla's Celebration Chapel. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens in the Garden of Valor.
