Stanley Daniel

Mr. Irvin Stanley “Stan” Daniel, age 78, passed on March 20, 2017 and was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Maria Daniel. He was born on March 31, 1938 in McAlpin, West Virginia. As a young man, Stan was known as “Rock,” learning to fight early on for all he believed in and becoming an accomplished Golden Glove Boxer. A dedicated husband and father, he loved life and enjoyed music, dancing with his wife, hunting with his father and brothers and fishing with Army brothers. He was a true patriot, serving 21 years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Master Sergeant and another 21 years supporting the U.S. Army as a Federal Employee, again retiring with over 42 years of combined service to the USA. Stan will be forever and affectionately be remembered by his family as the “Black Man!” Mr. Daniel is survived by four children with his wife Maria, Debra Daniel, Ramón Daniel (Lisa), Eric Daniel (Netta-Marie) and Mark Daniel (Annie); and five grandchildren.
