Shirley Faye Nolen, age 81, of Gurley, Alabama passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022. Shirley was born August 4, 1941.

Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She also was a supporter of the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Atlanta Braves and enjoyed ceramics.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Isaac Nolen Jr; children; Isaac Nolen III; Charles Nolen; Pamela House; and Tresa Mifflin; sister Mildred Thrasher; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A visitation for Shirley will be held Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 1:00 PM at Valhalla Memory Gardens in the Garden of Valor.
