Racheal Mason Lamb (September 6, 1937 – November 25, 2020) of Huntsville, Al, passed away at home at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Robert Earl Lamb; her parents, Charlie and Fannie Mason; her brothers, Durwood Mason and Jackie Mason and sisters Opal Brady, Avis Satterfield, Olga Gray and Carmen Taylor. Racheal is survived by her sisters, Patricia Dodson and Debbie Johnson. Racheal is also survived by her daughter, Rhonda Pugh and her husband, Sid Pugh, her son Robbie Lamb; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Jamie) Doss, Benjamin (Julia) Doss, Jessica (Zach) Bingham, Lillian (Wes) Landers, Ashley (Danny) Fowler, Lara Wise, Lana Smith, Noah (Monica) Lamb; eighteen great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly. Racheal was a friend to many. After working at NASA for more than thirteen years, Racheal became a REALTOR and served her community for more than forty years. She believed in the American Dream of Home Ownership and helped countless people buy and sell their homes. She was a Real Estate Instructor and helped many people begin their real estate career. We could list the many accomplishments, the Board seats she held, the committees she led, and other points of notoriety but rather we will share the things that we felt mattered to her. Racheal loved Life. She loved her Family. She loved her Friends. She loved her Heavenly Father. She loved to give. She LOVED to laugh. She loved to cook. She loved coffee and she loved onions. She loved to serve. Recently a young woman shared with our family that she had just gotten her real estate license. She shared that when she was just ten (10) years old Racheal helped her family buy their first home. As she sat in the back seat, she decided she wanted to become a REALTOR and be as caring and helpful as Racheal Lamb was to her family. Racheal’s sister Debbie shared that any time a family member was sick or in the hospital, Racheal would always be there with a tray of coffee and treats, pillows and blankets, and would sit with you for hours. Her sister Patricia also shared that you never left her home hungry. Even if you dropped in without warning – she would always find something to share. She helped many friends and family members start their businesses, supported their dreams and always had the “you can do it” spirit. She was determined. She was Racheal Mason Lamb, one of a kind, and she will be greatly missed.
