Marjorie Taylor Odom (Marge) of Huntsville, AL, passed away peacefully at Huntsville Hospital on February 12, 2020. She was surrounded by family and is survived by daughters, Andrea Guthrie and Jana Baudendistel (Ted), grandchildren, Lauren Adams (Darrell), Brittany Guthrie, Sarah Ward (David), John Baudendistel, great grandson, Patrick Adams and many beloved family members.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Dr. Pat Odom. Known as Marnie to her grandchildren, she loved to sew, bake and crochet, showing love to everyone by gifting her creations. Marge was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Huntsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Mrs. Odom wholeheartedly supported The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, The Downtown Rescue Mission of Huntsville and the distribution of Bibles by Gideon's International.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 15th at Valhalla Funeral Home and Memory Gardens at 1:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 3:00 p.m.
