Marie Alice Garner

Marie Alice Garner was born February 27, 1932 to the late Walter and Marie Jordan. Marie departed this life on Wednesday January 12, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Marie gave her life to Christ at an early age at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. Marie was preceded in death by her brothers L.S Jordan, J.B Jordan and William Jordan. Marie was united in Holy Matrimony with the late Walter Eddie Garner.

She leaves to cherish her memory one son Tyrone Eddie Garner (Monica Medley) of New Market, AL. One grandson Tyrone Wesley Garner (Pee-Wee) (Brandy) of New Market, AL. One granddaughter Courtney Sanders of New Market, AL. One great grandson Avery Garner of New Market, AL. One sister Dorothy Garner of New Market, Al and one brother Sam Jordan (Lorraine) of Fayetteville, TN. One Aunt Gladys Smith of Huntsville, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation for Marie will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, 292 Cemetery Rd, New Market, AL, followed by a the celebration of life service at 12:00 PM.
