Margie Lee (Payne) Markham, age 90, of Huntsville Alabama passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018. Margie was born February 17, 1928 in Madison County, Alabama to Fred and Nancy Payne. She was married to Andy Floyd on December 16, 1950. At the time of Floyds death they had been married 52 years. Margie was a member of West Huntsville church of Christ for 70+ years. She loved her church family and had many loving memories of her time there.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Nancy Payne, her husband Floyd Markham and grandson Will McBrayer. She is survived by a son, Gary (Susan) Markham, Huntsville, AL; a daughter Karen (George) McBrayer, Chattanooga, TN. 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 11:00 am in Valhalla’s Chapel.
