Margie Pylant Burks, 84 of Huntsville, AL passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Lucy Geneva Pylant; husband of 64 years, Darril G. Burks.
Margie is survived by her four sons, Bruce Burks (Karen), Brad Burks (Sherry), Brent Burks (Vickie), Mitch Burks (Jodi); one brother, Bruce Pylant (Vivian); one sister-in-law, Joyce Burks; 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Margie was a life long resident of Huntsville. She was employed by Adtran in Huntsville. She loved her family and cherished time with them. Margie was also a huge Alabama Crimson Tide fan - ROLL TIDE! She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
You may visit with the family on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral Services, conducted by Pastor Stan Mullins will begin at 2:00pm in Valhalla's Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens in the Garden of the Good Shepherd.
