Leroy Simpson Heston

Leroy passed away after a brief illness. He was predeceased by his parents Earl and Coila (Ward) Heston; his wife of 47 years M. Virginia Heston; brothers Gene, Paul, Donald, Raymond and Vern; sisters Lucille, and Vada, and great grandson Joshua Wattman.

He is survived by 4 sons; Lonnie (Diana), Gary, Dean and Alvin (Pam) and daughter, Norma Hoblit (Steve), 5 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren, brother; Lloyd Hestoon and Darrell Heston.

Leroy retired from the Navy and was a Pearl Harbor survivor. He was an avid duck hunter and fisherman. He was very community oriented, active in the Community Watch, local politics, wildlife organizations, and All Nations Church. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

You may visit with the family on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm in Valhalla's Chapel.
