Leona E. Henegar Green passed away peacefully on Monday, October 21st, 2024, at her home in Huntsville, AL, at the age of 91. Leona was born September 14, 1933 in Orme, TN, to Roy and Veda Henegar of Bridgeport, AL. She married Donald Green of Scottsboro, AL, in 1953 and resided in Huntsville, AL, until her death.
Leona graduated high school in South Pittsburg, TN. She was active in Civitan's and was the owner of an upholstery business for over 30 years. She enjoyed, reading, sewing, gardening and arts and crafts.
She is survived by a son, Glenn Green of Waleska, GA; 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Leona is preceded in death by her husband; Donald, her daughter; Linda Green Beshears of Lacey Springs, AL, her son; Randy Green of Huntsville, AL, and one grandson; Thomas Beshears.
