Kathleen Ophelia Stephens, or Kathy as she was known to friends and family, was born August 10, 1932 to Ophelia and Claudus Scott who preceded her in death along with a brother and a sister. She is survived by her husband, Clarence H. Stephens along with her son Eddie and his wife, Caryn, and her grandson James, who called her by her favorite name – Nana. Kathy was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Laceys Spring, AL. She had a long, fruitful career in real estate and enjoyed working on cross-word puzzles and reading.
Visitation for Kathy will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel. The Celebration of Life Service will be Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel. Kathy will be Laid to Rest at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
