Joyce Pinkston

Ms. Pinkston was a longtime resident of Hazel Green, Alabama. She worked at Sunbeam bakery in the 1960s and 1970s.

She is survived by her three children – Debbie Leopard (Husband Andy), Michael Jones (Wife Deb), and Rex Jones (Wife Clara); four grandchildren – Christopher Carter (Wife Heidi), Candice Cooper (Husband Bradley), Eric Brown (wife Audrey), Gale Gilmore (husband Eric); eight great-grandchildren – Hunter, Brooklyn, Caden, Caleigh, Raylen, Reece, Roland, and Reiley; six siblings – Hugh Perry, Ray Perry (wife Patsy), Lou Jones, Sue Tomlin, Phillip Perry, and Doyle Perry.

Ms. Pinkston was preceded in death by her first husband Wendell Jones of Huntsville, her second husband Steven Pinkston of Texas, and her sister Lois Christa.

A visitation for Joyce will be held in the chapel Monday, October 30, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Valhalla Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, 698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, Alabama 35811, followed by a graveside service at 11:00 AM.
