Flora Jane Edwards Hall, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away in Huntsville, Alabama, on February 22, 2024. She was born on July 25, 1937 in Jonesborough, Tennessee, and lived in Huntsville for over 55 years.
Jane was a woman of God, known for her unwavering faith and kindness towards all living beings. She had a special place in her heart for animals, always ready to lend a helping hand to any creature in need. Her witty sense of humor and strong-willed nature brightened the lives of all who knew her. She was a pillar of strength and a source of endless laughter for her family and friends.
Jane was married to her husband, O.E. Hall, for 30 years, a partnership filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Her legacy as a mother transcends mere titles, resonating in the cherished memories, shared laughter, and profound life lessons that continue to echo in the hearts of her three sons, a testament to a life well-lived and a love that knows no bounds. Her embrace of grandmotherhood was a testament to her warmth, weaving a legacy of love and familial connection that will linger in their hearts.
In 2022, at the age of 84, Jane retired from Adtran where she worked for over 25 years. She made many lifelong friends that she remained in contact with after retiring.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Lynn, Vernon, Sherman, and her sister Doris. She is survived by her devoted husband, O.E. Hall, her loving sons Todd, Tim, and Ted, her cherished granddaughters Tiffany, Tessa, and Holly, great-granddaughter Scarlett, and daughter in laws Tina and Cindy.
A Graveside Service for Jane will be held Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 1:00pm at Valhalla Memory Gardens, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811.
