James Haskel Suttles

January 2, 1944 – May 27, 2018

James H. Suttles, 74, passed away peacefully at his residence early Sunday morning. He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Ruby Crump Suttles.

Left to cherish his memory are his children- two sons, J. R. Suttles and Timothy Suttles (Joy); step-son, Ben Wood; two step-daughters, Lily Prince (Ron) and Tasha Horner (Eddie); his sister, Ruby Ann Thomas; and his brother, Johnny Suttles; 9 grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and several other relatives and friends.

James loved life and family and all things beautiful. He was very successful as owner/operator of his own Trucking business. James Haskel Suttles was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him!

You may visit with the family at Valhalla Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 29, 2017 from 6:00PM till 8:00PM. There will also be a visitation and service at First United Methodist Church in Demopolis, AL beginning at 1:00PM-3:00PM visit and 3:00PM service time with Kirk Funeral Home handling on Thursday, May 31, 2018.
