Born June 22, 1925, in Texas, he served in the Navy during WWII and after worked in the automotive
industry for over 60 years. Jim was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and led the music in several churches.
He moved to Alabama in 1980 where he later began his own successful automotive business. Jim was a loving
husband, father and grandfather and a member of Lakewood Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Stovall;
son, James Stovall III; nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by two sons,
Charles and Richard Stovall.
