RET SFC Harold Leroy Haling, 84 of New Market, AL passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Grace Haling; wife, Nadine Haling; 11 brothers and sisters, Clifford, Thomas, Frank, Walter, Kenneth, Bill, Ron, Liz, Ellen and Gerald.
Left to cherish his memory are his five children, John, Ralph, Sherry, Diana and David; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren; numerous niece and nephews from Wisconsin, Maine, Washington State, Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee and Kentucky.
Harry was retired from the United States Army. He loved woodworking and grilling/smoking delicious meals. He enjoyed traveling to visit family all over the country. He also was able to travel to Africa, Panama Canal, Key West, Hawaii and Las Vegas.
You may visit with the family on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 in Valhalla’s Chapel, with a visitation one hour prior to services. Burial, with full military honors will immediately follow services at Valhalla Memory Gardens in the Garden of Crosses.
