Harold J. Ballenger

Harold J. Ballenger, age 81, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at home with his family by his side. He was the husband of Jo Ann Ballenger, they shared 56 years together. Born in Empire, Al. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Huntsville, Al. Harold retired from Otis Elevator Company after 30 years of dedicated service.

Harold is survived by his wife Jo Ann and children Cheryl Forbes and her husband David and Jason Ballenger. Grandchildren Andrew Forbes and his wife Katie and Megan Forbes. Great grandchildren Jameson and Bennett Forbes. Brothers Lonnie B. Ballenger and Neil Ballenger.

Visitation for Harold will be held Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. Following the visitation will be The Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. He will be Laid to Rest at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to The Alzheimer Association.
