Retired Huntsville District Fire Chief Eugene Bethel Marks, 83 of Owens Cross Roads, Al passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Gladys Marks, daughter, Teri Lewis; brother, Donald Wayne Marks.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, JoAnn Marks; Daughters, Tina Letson (Jeff). Kim Marks; grandchildren, Morgan Paige Buchanan, Jordan Rile' Pugh, Parker Seth Pugh; Sister Alma Sue Gann (Jerry), along with several extended family and friends.
Eugene was a retired District Chief for the Huntsville Fire Department, with 30 years of service to his community. He was also a military veteran serving our country in the United States Air Force. His joys in life were his family and woodworking, especially his lathe where he created countless masterpieces.
A Celebration of Life Service with full Firefighter's Honors will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 3:30pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. Larry Bishop will be officiating. Internment will immediately follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens at the Chapel of Love Mausoleum.
