Emma Elise Brown, of Toney, Alabama, was called home to Heaven on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at the age of 86.
Emma was born in Fürth, Germany on February 14, 1934 to Anna Müller, who preceded her in death. She is the widow of Douglas Brown (1998).
Emma accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Ascension Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (Huntsville). She learned the meaning of “hard work” when she was very young. Being a “Farm Girl”, she raised cattle, tended to the sheep, fed the chickens, helped with plowing the fields and the tasks were never ending. Emma was employed as a machine operator at United Printing for 10 years. She also worked at GTE Automatic Electric for many years, soldering wires to electrical components. For enjoyment, Emma loved to sew and read mystery novels.
Emma leaves to cherish her memory, a loving son, James Brown.
