Dear Dolly,

I first met you when we were in 8th grade at Auburn. The school had a little rm 1thru4th and a big rm 5thru8th. I thought you and I were the smartest in our class. No need to say there were only 4 in our roll of seats. I wasn't shy in asking you if I could wear your watch or necklace with the big D. You never refused and I always returned it at the end of the day.
It wasn't to long after 8th grade that you and Ronald married and moved to Al and I moved to Chgo. I wish we could have seen each other more often. As a sister-in-law you were the BEST!! I'm glad your not suffering any more and your back with Ronald & Derek.

Dear Cousin Dolly;

I was only able to meet you face to face on those two trips to visit.  After I met your son Bruce online, and we got together that the first year we made contact, it was like my whole family was coming back together.

It was so great to be with family again, it is so much a part of my life to travel and visit more of my family throughout my genealogy travels, but the trip to rejoin with your family was truly special as it was such a close tie to my immediate family.

I will keep those memories strong in my mind and heart forever.

God has blessed you with such a wonderful and loving family.

My mom was a very loving person. She loved her family and her eyes  would light whenever her grandchildren  would come around. 
I will miss spending time with her. We loved to go shopping and eating lunch every Saturday. We also would try new adventures. She would want to start painting ceramics  or Mrs. Martha’s figurines or we may decide we wanted to start weight watchers. We where doing something most of the time.  
Mom I’m going to really miss you. You were more then a mother to me you were my best friend. I love you. Your daughter Rhonda

There is so much I could say about my Aunt Dolly, but the words could never do her justice. She was the most loving person I’ve ever met whether you were family or a stranger.  She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. The only comfort I find in her passing is that she is once again walking hand in hand with her husband and my Uncle Ronald the love of her life. I love you aunt Dolly.
