Debra Louise Holder, 60 of Harvest, AL passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018. Debra was born on October 29, 1958 in Norfolk, Virginia. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Louise Marable; son, Joseph Jones and husband, James Holder.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Shawna Ferguson and her husband, Herbert Dean Ferguson II, Jessica Holder; son, Jonathan Jones; two grandsons, Michael Ownby, Brandon Jones; stepson, James Holder; stepdaughter, Ellen Benefield; two brothers, James Marable X and Jimmy Marable along with numerous other family and friends.
Debra loved history, cooking, movies from the golden age of Hollywood, Florida Gators Football, the beach, animals (especially cats) and Peter Pan peanut butter. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
You may visit with the family on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral Services, officiated by Rev. Mike McFarlen will begin at 2:00pm in Valhalla's Chapel. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens in the Garden of the Good Shepherd.
